RANDY COUTURE WINS!: THE NATURAL BEATS THE TRUTH

Randy Couture won via unanimous decision! All three judges scores 29-28. Brandon Vera was very disappointed to the judges' decision. He thought he have dominated in all rounds but this is not how the judges saw the fight.

Actually, Vera is amazing this evening. He landed punishing kicks that rocked Randy. It was an amazing technique most specially when he was able to takedown Couture.

Joe Rogan criticized the judges and he said that judges these days don't know how to score in MMA. He can see the damage that Vera have created to Randy Couture. He said that although Couture was able to keep the clinch going, he was not really impressed on his performance tonight. He also added that Couture finds it hard to takedown Vera. He tried several attempts but failed to do so.

Joe Rogan asked Randy Couture if he was surprised by the decision and he said that he was not surprise because he knows that he was able to control the game.

RANDY COUTURE VS BRANDON VERA

Randy "The Natural" Couture, an experience MMA fighter is going to face Brandon "The Truth" Vera for the first time. Couture doesn't have good performance on his last two fights. On UFC 91, Couture was defeated by Brock Lesnar via a series of punches at 3:07 in round number 2. This was the moment that Brock became the most feared MMA fighter now in the heavyweight division. He then try to stood up in UFC 102 but he was not able to defeat Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in a unanimous decision. Now, Couture wanted to get rid of his third straight loss. Can he make it?

If Couture doesn't have good performance on his last two fights, Brandon "The Truth" Vera have shown his strength as a fighter. He defeated Michael Patt via leg kicks at 1:27 in round number 2 last March 7, 2009 in UFC 96. And last August 29, 2009 in UFC 102, he defeated Krzysztof Soszynski via unanimous decision. Vera just have 3 losses on his MMA career compare to the 10 losses of Couture. But this does not mean that he can just easily get a win to a man who was dubbed by Rampage Jackson as the MMA fighter whose body is as strong as young fighters today.
