BELFORT's PHENOMENAL RETURN

Nothing is considered phenomenal than the TKO victory of Vitor Belfort against Rich Franklin. He knocked him down at 3:02 in Round No. 1. His second return to the Octagon ring marks his another lifecycle in UFC. Belfort is considered now as one of the UFC fighter to watch for.

UFC 103 PRELIMS: FRANKLIN VS BELFORT

Fighting out for Cincinatti, Ohio and former middleweight UFC middleweight Champion is Rich Jay Franklin II or known as Rich "Ace" Franklin. he started his MMA career in the year 2000 where he won against Rob Smith via TKO in Extreme Challenge (EC) 31. He had two other fight the same year, one match against Gary Myers in WEF 9 where he won via KO (Head Kick) and the other one against Dennis Reed where he won via submission in EC 35. he first appeared in UFC 42: Sudden Impart where he won against Evan Tanner via TKO. Rich Franklin lost his Middleweight Championship belt in 2006 when he was defeated by Anderson Silva in UFC 64. He faced Anderson again the next year but he still failed to get back his title. He fought with Dan Henderson in UFC 93 in which the event was held at Dublin Ireland. He was defeated by Henderson via Split decision.

Fighting out for Las Vegas, Nevada and former UFC light heavyweight champion is Vitor Vieira Belfort or known as Vitor "Phenom" Belfort. He first appeared in UFC 12 where he won twice against Tra Telligman and Scott Ferrozzo both first round TKO. His last appearance in UFC was in the year 2005 in UFC 51. He was defeated by Tito Ortiz via split decision.

Belfort has now come back in the octagon and his first challenge is against Rich Franklin. His comeback have created a buzz but can he be able to defeat Franklin?
