Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. have finally returned in the boxing ring. We haven't saw him after his fight against Ricky Hatton last December 2007 but he came back to prove that he's still the greatest boxer of the new generation. He didn't disappoint his fans on his bout against Juan "Dinamita" Manuel Marquez. His victory against Marquez marks the beginning of another highlights in boxing. They said boxing was considered boring and only few boxers were left to promote this sports. Now that he's in the house again did he already got The Ring's top seat? Who is the current number 1 Pound for Pound King according to "The Ring?"
Well, although Mayweather Jr is back he wasn't able to dethroned Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao from the Philippines as the Ring's No. 1 Pound for Pound King. We can't deny the fact that Pacquiao has been the crowd's favorite in the boxing ring. He brought back life in boxing and we can see that in the number of PPVs and tickets sold in every match he take. Pacquiao is the number one "Pound for Pound King" in the world for about 303 weeks. The destruction that Pacquiao made to Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton's career, earned him the title. But Mayweather's comeback earned him the number two position.
