All the fighters in UFC 103 were issued medical suspensions. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for Combative Sports issued this yesterday. Most of the fighters received 7 days suspensions and other 30 day-suspensions except for Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic who was suspended indefinitely after complaining about not being able to see properly during the third round of his fight with Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos. Right now, Cro Cop was in the hospital to have his evaluated. He will only be cleared if everything went good.

Fighters who got knock out or TKO losses were issued 30-day suspensions and these are Rich "Ace" Franklin, Martin "The Hitman" Kampman, Frank "Twinkle Toes" Trigg, Hermes "The UNreal" Franca, Steve Lopez, and Cole "Magrinho" Miller. They were all suspended until October 20, 2009.

Vitor "Phenom" Belfort, "Josh "Kos" Koscheck, Paul "Semtex" Daley, Efrain "Hecho En Mexico" Escudero, Brian Foster, Tyson Griffin, Drew "The Massacre" McFedries, Tomasz "Gorilla" Drwal, Rick "The Horror" Story and Jim Miller were suspended until September 27, 2009. While Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos, Vladimir "The Janitor" Matyushenko, Nick "The Carny" Lentz, Eliot "The Fire" Marshall, Jason "Hitman" Brilz, Rafaello "Tractor" Oliveira, Igor Pokrajac, Rob "The Saint" Emerson, and Rafael Dos Anjos were suspended until September 29, 2009.
